I thought I'd share it for those who don't want to pay the yearly $5 themselves.

Download and install the latest version of μTorrent Web from μTorrent Web (https://web.utorrent.com/index3.html)
Download the Ad-Free License from the link(s) below
Double-click the license.btwkey file contained inside to add the Ad-Free License to your installation of μTorrent Web

That only happens with the first link if you don't already have μTorrent Web installed. The license is packaged into a torrent file so you need to have μTorrent Web installed to download it.

The first link is the license and the second is to the official download page for μTorrent Web.

Download fixed. Torrenting it proved to be a mistake. nobody was seeding it so it got lost. Had to recover the license file so I could pack it into a zip and upload it directly.
