The next Windows 10 version based on Windows 10 2004 19041 is coming.
The small Enablement Package (KB5015684) with just 176 KB makes it Windows 10 22H2 19045.
This makes it the fourth function update that Microsoft is distributing.

Microsoft is continuing with the small feature updates for Windows 10.
The small update KB 5015684 as an enablement package is sufficient to update Windows 10 to Windows 10 22H2 19045.
After the installation you have Windows 10 22H2 on the computer.

So you don't need a new installation or an inplace upgrade to update to Windows 10 19045.
As with the previous versions from Windows 10 19041, the optional and security-relevant updates will then be valid for Windows 10 19043, 19044 and 19045.
Security updates for Windows 10 19045 will then be provided by mid-2024.

Activate Windows 10 22H2 (19045) through the KB5015684
The KB5015684 only unlocks the changes and new features that have already been integrated into Windows 10 21H2 via an update.
If you were to uninstall the Enablement Package (KB5015684) again, you would be back on the road with Windows 10 21H2 (19044) and the changes would be locked again.

The official release of KB5015684 and thus the official start of Windows 10 22H2 will only be announced later by Microsoft.
But the function update can already be installed.

The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10
Windows 10 support lifecycle
As documented on the Windows 10 Enterprise and Education and Windows 10 Home and Pro lifecycle pages, Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025.
The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will remain in support with monthly security update releases through that date.
Existing LTSC releases will continue to receive updates beyond that date based on their specific lifecycles.
Recommendation
We highly encourage you to transition to Windows 11 now as there won't be any additional Windows 10 feature updates.
If you and/or your organization must remain on Windows 10 for now, please update to Windows 10, version 22H2 to continue receiving monthly security update releases through October 14, 2025.

KB4023057: Update Health Tools—Windows Update Service components
for Windows 10
Summary
Microsoft Update Health Tools is offered to devices through Windows Update as update KB4023057.
This update is applicable for both Windows consumer and commercial devices, with a slightly different purpose and functionality.

On Windows consumer devices, this update helps remediate smooth functioning of Windows Update.

For commercial devices, this update is recommended for Windows Update for Business (WUfB) Deployment Service for managing Feature and Quality Updates.

The Microsoft Update Health Tools is required for Expediting security updates through Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Graph.

This update should automatically install if your device is connected to Windows Updates services and allows automatic updates.
If your device isn't regularly receiving quality updates, because of low disk space or have low activity, this may prevent the device from installing the Update Health Tools.
If you currently don't have the client installed, you can then try triggering a normal Windows Update scan.
Or, you can manually download and install Update Health Tools from the Microsoft Download Center.

To verify that Update Health Tools has successfully installed, do the following:

Look for the installation files at this location (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Update Health Tools).
