what am I doing wrong? (windows7.msstyles edit with SAB)

any advice on how to do this? lol :(

I'm trying to modify windows7.msstyles to be used with startallback on Win11. I want a big icon with a transparent background to go where the crappy user picture normally goes. I'm using restorator and msstyle editor. This picture should explain the rest lol... thanks!

Hi Barf, If you want to use this for your user picture you will have to go to your Microsoft account and use it for your profile Picture like I have below and then select "show user picture" in your SAB Settings

oh wow that's easy! Do they support transparent backgrounds? that's the stumbling block I keep running into, I want a clean cutout but no matter what I do it gives me a solid square background

I dont think so with the default W7 Start menu I had a look on my w11 set up but its the same. I think its default in all W7 start menus.
