Whether "God" in Windows 7: know what is GodMode
This week, popped the Internet a hidden function from Microsoft: a "God Mode" (as God) for Windows. Despite suggesting a far greater impact when I enable this mode does is focus on one place, all the configuration panels of Windows 7.
When created, the "God Mode" brings a running list of 278 options in alphabetical order and grouped into sections. Double click on any shot and is the configuration window for the item.
Enable the "God mode" is simple: open a Windows Explorer window and click the right mouse button. Choose the New Folder option and, in time to name it, paste the following text:
GodMode. ED7BA470 (-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C)
Press Enter. The icon will change to the same used by the Control Panel and, when opened, will reveal all options.
It is true that the way is a paradise for any coach, who no longer need to use different menus in Control Panel to make simple settings. However, by presenting all options, including administrative tools for formatting and partitioning, can become a nightmare for users of little practical fuçador.
And in Windows Vista?
We tested the configuration on Windows 7 and everything worked perfectly, without fail. In Windows Vista, you must care.
In our testing on Vista 32 bit can enable the mode. Several sources, however, claim that the "GodMode" can catch the 64-bit version of Vista to run.
According to the Gizmodo blog, Windows Vista 64-bit, the procedure should be different: create a new shortcut (right-click> New> Shortcut) and type the following field:
explorer.exe shell::: (ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C)
Gizmodo is also the exception that the systems with Vista 64-bit can catch.
