By default, Windows 7 will display a beautiful boot logo when Windows starts booting. Although you can disable GUI boot in Windows 7 and Vista, here is a cool way to view operating system boot information during startup.

By enabling OS Boot information, you will be able to view files that are loading at startup, total amount of RAM, number of cores information instead of the default boot logo.

Here is how you can enable OS boot information in Windows 7:

1. Type MSCONFIG in Start menu search field or in run dialog box and then hit enter.

2. Once you see System Configuration dialog box, switch to Boot tab.

3. Under the Boot tab, check the option named OS boot information.

4. Click Apply and then Ok.

5. Done! Reboot machine to view your OS and system information during boot process.
