    How To Check For Performance Issues In Windows 7

    There might be tens of issues behind a slow running Windows machine. It could be because of installed programs, fragmented hard disk, visual effects, antivirus programs, low system hardware configuration, etc.

    How to check for performance issues:

    1. Go to Start menu and then Control Panel.

    2. Under System and Security, click Find and fix problems to see all troubleshooters present in this version of Windows.

    3. Here, click Check for performance issues to start the performance troubleshooter. Click Next button to start detecting issues. Tip: Run the troubleshooter with admin rights to find more issues. To run it as admin, click Advanced option and then select Run as administrator.

    4. Depending on the type of issues detected, the troubleshooter may fix them automatically and may ask you fix it manually.
