Default Programs Editor
Default Programs Editor is a free portable tool that allows you to change the default icon of any file type in Windows 7, Vista & XP. This feature was built-in in Windows XP but was removed in Windows Vista & 7.
# Run the tool.

Click File Type Settings.

Click Icon.

Select the file type of which you want to change the icon and click Next.

# Select the icon that you want to display for the file type and click OK.
# Click Save Icon.
