Microsoft's Windows Glider crashes after 15 seconds of uptim
Microsoft's Windows team entered the Red Bull FlugTag competition at the weekend but failed to impress with a comic entry.
"Windows Project Phoenix" was a group of Microsoft workers entry into the homemade human-powered flying machine competition. Microsoft's entry included the green, red, yellow and blue colours of the famous Windows Flag and a few Windows sounds mixed into an anthem prior to the "launch".
Unfortunately for the guys from Redmond, the flight failed to make much ground and after 15 seconds of movement, crashed off the end of pier on Long Beach, California. The result is hilarious, see below. According to CNET, Ben Rudolph, who pushed the glider said that the wings appeared sound, but perhaps the balance was off, "We need to review the footage", he said to CNET.
