V.I.P. (Visually Impaired Person)
Hello,
My wife is a V.I.P. and was using Vista setup with High Contrast Black theme and a 3rd party app called Zoomtext. It magnifies the whole screen and does text to speech as well.
We recently upgraded to Windows 7 and we found that Zoomtext is not compatible unless we upgrade but it's too expensive. The accessibilty features of Windows 7 are OK except for one problem.
The built-in magnifier only provides full screen magnification and a large virtual desktop if a Windows Aero theme is used but just a windowed magnifier if any of the Basic or High Contrast themes are used.
She needs a desktop where all apps, windows, context menus, message boxes, etc.. are viewed with white text on a black background and fullscreen magnification.
Are there any themes that can do this? If not, are there tools that I could use to try to make a theme that can do this?
Thanks!
