Hi Mate....You can restore to your default win7 icons with 7tsp.....

Hit restore in the bottom right...

Then pick the middle one ... Restore" All " to windows default....click OK

A handy tip: Always install 7tsp, when you 1st do a clean install of your os, then, after you get all your updates and patch your system, go ahead and install one of MrGrim's 7tsp theme-extras (or one created by someone else, but try to make sure the pack changes as many images as possible), so that 7tsp will on 1st run create a backup of your defaults. After that's done, you can always revert back to your defaults with 7tsp. I learned recently to also copy the 7tsp entire install directory (in Program Files (x86)) and save it to an external drive, after the program does the backup of the defaults, that way you'll always have that backup. On a new install of your os, you can then just install 7tsp, close the program, then delete the install directory and replace it with your backup of the same (the one which includes the backups, which saves you from having to run some other icon or extras pack the 1st time around.) I had a situation a few weeks ago where my taskmanager wasn't being themed correctly (I have since learned that I had only made a backup of one of the files---there are 2 in 64-bit versions of Windows 7, and packs that customize the taskmanager, like MrGrim's extras, backup both).....

So one of my taskmanagers was being restored, one wasn't, due to my manually only backing-up the one in System32. Making a backup of the 7tsp install directory, after its initial backup of my defaults (using one of MrGrim's extras packs from one of the HUD themes), was a time saver and good idea.

But now I also use Acronis True Image, and have saved backups (partition clones) of 1) a Windows 7 install including all updates, with defaults, the state a new setup would be in before any customizations, but patched, and 2) several other backup-states that I can quickly run, like everything themed-out in say HUD Machine Blue, HUD Machine Red, or HUD Launch, etc..... Even from a clean reformat, I can just set up my Acronis on my newly installed os, then restore any one of these full-system backups kept on my external drive, and, within 20 minutes EVERYTHING is COMPLETELY restored....all my Windows updates, my files, my installed programs, my themes. I love Acronis, it's truly amazing.

i think the best way is 7tsp
alternative 1 - run 7tsp and click on Program/SFC Scan / SFC scannow
alternative 2 - run 7tsp and click on Restore/Restore all modified system files to windows default
