RollBack Rx Home Edition is now Freeware!

    No more excuses .......

    Get it here : https://www.horizondatasys.com/en/pro...Id=40#Features

Update: If you are installing this on Windows 8 or 8.1 - you will need to disable Windows Fast Boot. If you do not disable Fast Boot and power down your system and go to re boot you will get the RollBack Rx screen then a black screen afterwards, DO NOT DISHEARTEN though, all you need to do is a hard shutdown wait a few seconds then repower the machine and it will boot. This will not happen with Windows Fast Boot disabled though.

I have contacted the developers of Rollback Rx and they plan to either make it compatible with Windows Fast Boot or on installing RollBack Rx to include a notification to turn off Fast Boot.

Note: This does not affect system restarts, only on powering up from a complete shut down.

I use Acronis, but if I didn't have it I would definitely use Rollback Rx. Looks like a very useful program with plenty of features, thanks for sharing!

I installed it a couple of days ago and took some system snapshots and just for the hell of it rolled back my system this morning to two days ago and it did it within minutes, after it's done it gives you the option to recover any personal files you may want to and it does it with ease.

I've always wanted to try this software and until they made the home edition freeware never gotten the opportunity to do so, now I'm going to tell you it'll probably never leave my system. This is a hell of a lot more painless than doing a reset or refresh, and no more heartaches because Windows won't do a system restore from a restore point.
