How to recolor Aimp3 skins?

Does anyone know of any software to import an existing Aimp3 skin for recoloring?

I am looking to import the HUD Machine Aimp3 skin by Gor that is originally black for recoloring to match Grim's HUD Machine White theme.
I have tried to import into the Aimp skin editor but the program will not import .acs3 files, I've tried to Google software but get nothing but the Aimp skin editor that doesn't seem to work.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Why don't you use the built-in color changer?

The built in color changer does not change the frame color and that is what I am looking to change from black to white

how about restorator? will that open the aimp file?

Honestly, I haven't tried it, I have a feeling that ...
1.) I need an older version of Aimp skin editor that will edit .acs3 files being as the new aimp format is now .acs4

or

2.) I need the original schema.xml and image files that Gor worked off of.

I don't see him around too often anymore on VC, I've tagged him on this thread, I think I'll drop him a pm also and hopefully he checks it.

Hi Guys,

Actually it's not a different version of the editor you need to edit skins what you need is the project skin that Gor would have used to make the skin.

Aimp skin editor or well Aimp the company does not allow you to edit skins in the skin format acs files I assume to prevent theft and such there is no way to open an acs file in the editor.

I will look around and see if I have the project file and send it next time I am on I think I do have it Gor and I used to go back and forth a lot with doing Aimp skins back in the day and I know he sent me all the working HUD skins he had older and newer so I will see if I still have them for ya next time I am able to get on
