Un-compress your jpeg desktop wallpaper
Got this from How To Geek ......
By default Windows compresses desktop wallpapers in jpeg format. The attached registry hack will allow you to un-compress those images so you can add more life and vibrancy to your desktop.
If you use jpegs as your desktop wallpaper you can read the full article here to to see how to do this manually https://www.howtogeek.com/277808/wind...quality-again/
Or you can just download the file I have attached below that contains the registry hacks to both un-compress or restore Windows default jpeg compression settings.
Unzip the file, then run by right clicking on the registry hack and selecting "Merge"
After applying the hack make sure to reboot.
InformationThis only works on jpeg images, it will have no effect on any other image format(s).
WARNINGIf you are limted on the amount of ram your system has you may not want to do this. Last edited by Dark Knight; October 25th, 2016 at 07:09 PM.

I believe in karma which means I can say all the bad things I want to you and just assume that you deserve it.
