    Unhappy Control Panel Side Bar Image?

    So I am trying to change the Control Panel sidebar image to the Windows Vista one. So it will look like this:



    I am using Customizer God to change it but it won't change even though I change the resource.

    I didn't know I needed to because I thought CustomizerGod would do it since it had the option. But it wasn't working so I came here.

    I went through the Style Builder and found nothing. I found the proper files in shell32 and replaced them and replaced the system file it still doesn't show up. At this point I am lost.

    Instead of manually changing the files, try this. It's a Windows Vista theme for Windows 7

    Just patch your system with eithe UxStyle or UxThemePatcher and install Theme Resource Changer and this should run flawlessly.

    yes not need to using style builder for changing shell32.dll file in the side bar
    good choice is theme resource changer as mentioned Nimbi in his post
