Sorry I misunderstood, You shouldn't need to take ownership again if you already Have, just copy and past the Whole Folder to your Desktop and work on them from there and then rename the original Folder from .exe to .Backup then paste your Modified Folder still named .exe Close Windows and then reboot and you should be able to see the changes.
