tfw..... why is this happening?

Yo, so I recently had to runa fresh install of Windows 10 19H1 due to learnign first hand not to run Windows Style Builder on my main system [gotta upgrade RAM now so I can run it in VM, ].

And basically, reg files won't do anything at all....


I've tried double clicking, I've tried right clicking and selecting merge, nada....... no popup, no change, nothing at all happens... It's as if my system is completely blocking out reg files from doing anything at all.


I've never seen this happen before so if anyone knows wtf is causing it please let me know because I can't apply the Classic Personlization pane reg file now due to this bs [or ANY reg file for that matter].

FML. I had to open regedit and manually import the shiz. This is going to get annoying over time.

aaaand, now reg files are working.... maybe my PC was simply messing with me... I'll keep an eye on this one....
