database error?

past 2 days i've been getting "data base error" throught the day off and on.. is it just me or the site having issues?

Yeah I know guys, this is something new, the session table keeps filling up, it is meant to be on an hourly clean up and that seems to be working but the number of sessions is too much for the hourly cleanup to deal with, seems like an attack on the site of some kind.

Look at the guest number, over 5000, this is not normal.

ah kk makes sense, and no worries mate, just was wondering what was going on. it was weird i'ld have the error on chrome then i'ld try a different browser and it'ld go threw (lucky timming throwing me off)

so anyway was a bit confused

Seems like this attack is coming from China, for now I will try to block all traffic from china and see how we go.

Looks like that may have worked, the number of guests is decreasing rapidly, now the hourly session cleanup should be able to keep up.

It's a shame as I really didn't want to block China but this is the sort of thing that seems to come from there a lot.
