hello Friends
if someone are using ExplorerFrame images in their own themes
and have problem with applying this images correctly
here is the little fix by me
just put the new shell folder to your theme directory
for example
C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\MSI Dragon Red w11
to take effect you need to restart your explorer.exe (File Explorer)
or sign out and sign in

Installation:
Open up 7TSP & click Add a Custom Pack & select the icon pack you want to install.
Click on Start Patching.
By default 7TSP will create a restore point & install the icon pack.
Once installation is done reboot & you're done

yes, there is always a way to get everything back
open the 7tsp application then click restore
restore modified system files to before 7tsp was used
you can also use the sfc /scannow function
this modification only works for special themes with these special images
if the given theme does not support these images, your theme will remain unchanged

I have a question.. I am trying to use some of your old Windows 10 themese you converted from Mr. Grim under Windows 11. However, even after applying the new patched Shell files, I am getting a ghost box left in the middle of the screen when I am using some software, such as Calibre book library. I convert a few books, and the notification of it parsing the books remains on the screen and stays there even after the process has completed. I use the new Blade theme, and that works perfectly, but any of the older themes, I encounter this bug. I also get it in some of the other windows 11 themes that others have created.. So far, the only ones that work seamlessly are the new blade theme and the Horizon Forbidden West themes.. I have ran the UltraUX Theme patcher 4.4.1, applied the 7tsp of the allow theme extras, but it's just bugging me why some of these others are not working even after adding the new shell files to their folders under the windows/resources/themes directories.

I am on Windows 11 build 23H1..

Any help would be appreciated.

yes, I worked on the Blade Special edition theme and on the Horizon Forbidden West theme for more than one and a half years
these two themes have been redone several times also for windows server 2022 and now for windows server 2025
it's not just a ported theme from windows 10 in two minutes
because these two themes did not exist for windows 10
I tried different themes from different creators, but their themes are nothing special and contain a lot of errors
some fake creators uses many of our original works updated shell files and selling all as premium
that's why I never use themes from other creators, but only mine adapted exactly according to my ideas
I try to make sure that every time is displayed correctly, that's why I also make different address , files with a shell file for them
The blade and horizon theme is, in my opinion, the most perfect theme made just for Windows 11
so I would recommend it as a basis for new themes
some themes if they have a problem with ghosts
try updating the graphics card driver or clearing its cache
if that doesn't help, try downloading and running the ExplorerPatcher application
try enabling the Register as shell extension feature
this function helps to correctly display windows and shell files, for example, in the open as window
also enable the Always use legacy file transfer dialog feature

Thank you for the reply, Moonique. I did give the explorer patcher a try, but again it still kept the dialog box and didnt disappear.. no biggie, I've decided to retire the old 10 themes I used to use, and am not sticking with the Blade and Horizon Forbidden West themes as my primary ones. (Side note: The one I was really trying to get to work was the Hardwired Red only because my wife loves red and I was trying to get her a red theme for her computer.. and that's one of the hiccups I was having was the ghost box being left behind). I'll chug away at it in my spare time, maybe try older versions of the theme instead of the 19h1 copies I was trying... I really need to get the style builder software and start getting my feet wet and learn how to make my own theme.. I have one I really want to sit down and get working on, but lack of knowing HOW do it is my holdup... But I do appreciate ALL the hard work you put into everything you have helped contribute to the community.
